It isn’t easy to make tight alterations on existing hardened material parts but when our customer came to us, we figured it out.
Our customer had 60 A-2 hardened, 5860 Rockwell GRIPPERS that needed to be modified with additional bolt holes to work with a new casting. This is no easy task for many. Magna’s design team reviewed the client’s needs, and quickly provided a solution.
We had the knowledge, equipment and overall capabilities to deliver these modified parts that delivered what was needed for our customer’s existing robots, and we were able to do this while saving the customer hundreds of dollars.
