Engineering Design
Services
 Magna
has had its own engineering design department for over fifteen
years. We have expanded from one full-time designer to our
present team of five designers. Two of our designers started
their careers on the shop floor. Our ability to both design
and fabricate has given Magna much experience with special
machines, and integrating and retrofitting of machines,
as well as designing fixtures and gages.
Special Machines
Special machines are the heart of the design department. As
we have grown so has our experience in designing and building
special machines. We have worked with a broad range of customers
in many areas of manufacturing. Our experience ranges from
the simplest machine to the more complex turnkey projects
which include many special machines to do a required task.
Our experience in Individual Build Machines includes the many
issues associated with this type of special machine such as
ergonomics, compact size, and efficient use of space and weight.

Work Holding Fixtures
We work with the customer to provide
the work holding needed, from the simplest manual
fixtures to the more complex automated work holding
